I just returned from a photography conference in Chicago where I photographed this image of a light fixture. When I think of the word “intense,” a certain saturation of color comes to mind rather than trying to convey a mood. This amazing green wall captivated me as well as the illumination from the light fixture itself. Intensity to me also applies to a high degree of focus. I was a bit in the zone when I saw this image so was fairly intense yet also quite relaxed. This exposure was taken by a Nikon D80, ISO 400, 18-55 mm lens.
